IEEE 802.11ba: Ultra-Low Power Wake-up Radio Standard

The book provides a detailed description of the IEEE 802.11ba standard, beginning by explaining the concept of a wake-up radio (WUR) and how that fits into the overall 802.11 standard, as well as how a WUR can be used to save power consumption and extend battery life. The section on the MAC layer will describe in detail the various protocols that are used to negotiate WUR operation, its uses for different functionalities such as wake up of the main radio, discovery, synchronization, and security. Though the book is focused on the WUR standard, there will be a chapter giving an overview of ultra-low power noncoherent radio frequency (RF) receivers.
