Software and Data Technologies

This book constitutes the best papers of the Second International Conference on Software and Data Technologies, ICSOFT 2007, held in Barcelona, Spain, in July 2007, in conjunction with ENASE, the Evaluation of Novel Approaches to Software Engineering working conference. The 26 revised full papers presented together with 2 invited papers and 3 best papers from ENASE were carefully reviewed and selected from 292 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on programming languages, software engineering, distributed and parallel systems, information systems and data management, as well as knowledge engineering.
